Chimneyfish is a local based rock band from the metro Detroit area with a definite focus on originality coupled with an appealing selection of cover songs. Together since '94, they've been writing, recording and playing just about anywhere people would listen. With the tightness and clarity of a three-piece, Chimneyfish puts together a wide range of influences and styles to create something which seems to be a rarity these days- a powerful, unique sound made possible by the chemistry and level of musicianship found within this band.

Larry Black on drums provides a rock-solid foundation for the songs, while Nic Mata puts down a bass line to set the tone for the overall sound. With guitars flowing seamlessly from full, heavy rhythm to melodic, blues-influenced lead sections and strong vocals, Jason Pyzik provides the final piece of the wide, bigger-than-life sound that is the Chimneyfish trademark.
